Live music/flashback

Transported back about 30 years today. Grateful Dead 50th anniversary shows in Chicago went on sale today....via the yesteryear agency: Grateful Dead Ticket Sales. Where you send them SASE, money order, and 3x5 index card with pertinent info. No ETIX. No TicketMaster (until Feb. that is). Was pretty funny at local Post Office today; long line as every other day---mgrs have no clue about customer service staffing. But every 3rd customer had in hand all the mandatory items, just waiting to seal the envelope with M.O. inside. And then get the postal stamp to signify today's date (another ordering requirement for first priority fulfillment). Anyone else recall this process from the 70s?

And no dirty hippies need apply!
