Exploratorium Carnival Sideshow event April 2!

In my excitement I am probably breaking 14 ePlaya rules, but I will not take offense when a Moderator "deals with" it.

The Exploratorium in San Francisco will hold a Carnival Sideshow Science event in the evening of Thursday April 2!

I just learned this because I subscribe to their e-mail newsletter.

The Exploratorium is a science museum, and one of The Great Places to visit in San Francisco. During the day, they tend to have a lot of children visiting, but they also hold evening events for adults, called After Dark. And this Sideshow Science event is one of those.

If you think of the Exploratorium as being in the old "classical" Palace Of Fine Arts building near the Golden Gate Bridge -- THEY HAVE MOVED, and upgraded! They are now on Pier 15 -- on Embarcadero, not far from the Ferry Building. Somebody local will probably post more info soon.

Seems to me, this is a "must" for us who are planning Carnival Of Mirrors!

It's not specifically about Burning Man, so I'm moving this over to Open Discussion. I'm not sure if it's a valid event to put up, but it is in-theme and for a non-profit (and a freaking awesome museum) so ...

I know Blumen Lumen, the open playa art piece last year of giant flowers that opened and closed, did a couple of the Exploratorium after dark events in the lead up to the burn last year. It's sounds like a super cool event! I'll put it in my diary since I'll be in town then. Thanks Elliot!
