I heard that Google is bringing Streetview, flying a LIDAR system from their smart car project and constructing a virtual version of the event that can be experienced later with VR.

They are also setting up a full on Google mobile base station prototype, so people can walk around at the event in Google Cardboard glasses. And the whole event will be broadcast in VR along with BMIR.

I checked the long range weather forecast for Gerlach and immediate area and the forecast for late August-early September is heavy rain and above average winds with possible periods of golf ball size hale and occasion earth lightening strikes.

Also, aviation long range weather advises precautionary aviation flight planning in northwest Nevada due to unseasonable weather patterns for the same time period with possible icing conditions from 4,000 feet to flight level 14.

Actually Black Rock WiFi is always expanding and any camp that buys about $100-200 of specifically qualified equipment can has Interwebs. Is actually true, not just today.

I heard that some of the sound camps were considering playing music made by musicians this year.
First Camp is going to have a Radical Inclusion day inviting everyone to partake of their bounty, bring your own cup, spoon and 16K donation.
The outer avenues are going to be left open to facilitate Burner camping this year, instead of hosting Plug-that-Popsicle Resorts.
Trash cans located at every intersection. Free Wi-Fi at Camp Threat.
I will personally be hosting a workshop on conflict resolution and how to keep a cool head in troubled times.
The EDM throngs will not be filled with bike thieves this year due to radical enlightenment.
Cops are gonna be totally cool this year. Bike blocking a license on the last dirt mile before parking at camp, so what? No big deal. Not at all.
I will remember to bring all my supplies this year and will build a camp to be admired and used as an example by Burners for years to come.

So yesterday I went on one of those social funding websites and donated to some of the camps represented by epalayans here, you know, as sort of an April Fools joke.
Now today I went back to the funding site to indicate it was all a joke and cancel the donations but I can't seem to find that button?

April 1, 2015 [San Francisco] The Burning Man Foundation announced today its newest board member, Mr Watson. Watson brings a rich set of connections to the Burning Man organization, and brilliant logic.
