Asking for assistance to a family in need...

This week, a car traveling more than 50mph in a residential neighborhood (speed limit 25mph) crashed into a home in Reno, killing their two children and causing a partial collapse of the house. Neighbors rushed to the family's aid, and have set up a fundraiser at http://www.youcaring.com/PrincessTragedy. In addition, the family will be holding a kermes (festival) to help raise money to cover their many expenses and are also accepting donations at all Wells Fargo locations (Wells Fargo Gomez Memorial Fund #2056220862).

The incident took place around noon on Monday 6/22/2015, and it appears the driver may have a medical condition that contributed to the crash. Police are still investigating, and as of Thursday 6/25/2015 no charges have been filed and the driver still has his driver's license.

Due to the political issues involved (city's lack of speed bump or stop sign on that street, the driver's medical condition or conditions, the fact that a doctor HAD cleared the individual to drive, and other factors), it will be quite some time before insurance or other settlement-and the family really needs help in the meantime.
