Canadian Burner needs a little help from her tribe in LA

Hey Burners and co,

Thought I'd put this out into the world as I'm having a little bit of trials and tribulations since I hit LA. See, here's the thing. I went to Burning Man this summer and it changed my life, so I decided that this fall and winter I'd hang out in California, since there are so many Burners around here. I work as a street performer, so figured I'd make ends meet that way, and visit my Burner friends around California as well. Instead, I'm kind of stuck in Venice Beach, loving it and not neccessarily wanting to leave yet, but I only make a few dollars each day, I've been sleeping outside for a week and I'm starting to get a little sick, plus my muscles are all torn up from hauling my stuff around all the time. Can any Burners out there around the Venice Beach or West LA area put me up for a day or two, store my stuff or just let me use their shower? I don't usually ask for help, but LA is a tough place and I guess I need it. I can return the favor any time you ever want to come and visit my lovely island in British Columbia, Canada, I'm only a few hours north of Seattle when I'm at home.

there is a pretty strong L.A. BM community there.
