My primary source of daily news is NPR's website. (Great minds think alike.)
In 2019, a member of my camp was a long-time NPR radio commentator.

An other news site, CNN, this morning reports that even Jared Kushner is trying to reel in his deranged father-in-law.
And Republican lawmakers are ranting against improved security in the Capitol. One wants to carry a pistol herself. My mind is replaying images of Iron Curtain legislators in fist-fights. We truly are a banana republic.

But I should be easily redeemed with my listening to the BBC's podcast from their world service. My only critique of the BBC is a female broadcaster who shall remain nameless who adds a strange British accent clipped sound that is the result of a suppository of (and my friends opinions are split on this) either ice cubes or corncobs.

Now, regarding media in camp - dude, the Black Rock Beacon (which I call home) has more and better media. Mitch, the camp manager and ofttimes editor, is a real-life regular contributor and writer for Bloomberg News regarding municipal bond trends and prices (as exciting as watching grass grow or paint drying). Rockstar, writer and assistant managerof the camp was at one time the world's first medical marijuana reviewer and critic for SF Weekly.
