I watched it earlier. The newsman caught himself, but underplayed his correction. Confusion still reigned, yes.
But this is trivial.
Mr. Trump is a walking talking farce, when we occasionally allow ourselves to view him thru a lens of humor -- which I think is necessary for our mental health.
He is of course also capable of eradicating all living things from the planet with the push of a button -- even if probably not quite literally so. He is certainly capable of duplicating anything Adolf Hitler did, and it seems he is trying to.
