I've got all my windows open and there's a nice warm breeze, sounds of the neighborhood, and lawns being mowed. Spring!

Good wishes for a quick recovery to Anti M.

While we're discussing our looming mortality, anyone else feel a little freaked by that theme camp questionnnaire countdown clock dangling up there?

Time for drinks..

*pours Pago Pago Octopus*

Hmm.. seeing as it's springtime, I'm thinking I might get a holly bush, and plant it out back. Prickly yes, but good food for wildlife.

I'll name it Bob.

Tick-Tock...I'm using it. Subtract 2 and a half days and that's when my dry cleaning will be ready. If I subtract 3 and half days that's when I have a commercial photo shoot at work. Etc.. It's very helpful. I think I'll have a virgin bloody Mary and hit the sack. Time's a wastin.

A long, long time ago, sometime in the mid 80s myself and a few friends went out for breakfast and I absentmindedly poured syrup in my coffee. Guess that's better than egg whites.

So, does Brie usually taste like ammonia? Do I have a bad cheese? should it be warmer? Should it breathe? Age? Should I just give up and let the magic of compost take care of it?

Brie can smell pretty strongly of ammonia - it's still good! This article explains a bit.

Now I've got a hankering for some brie, or maybe at the very least a bit of irish cheddar... but we don't have any of either one. Nachos and a nice 4-cheese blend, on the other hand.... sounds like my plan for lunch.
