My immediate reaction would be to ditch Apple and get an Android.
Concerts aren't even the problem. Screw that who cares. I care about who else can blast a no-recording beam. Like cops.
If they do this, goodbye iPhone.

Hmm.. maybe I won't toss out my old SLR film camera just yet. Heck, it's still in good shape the last time I checked.

Maybe at the manburn, "Put down your phones" will be the new "Down in front," and just as effective.

can we all agree that playing pokemon during the temple burn is terribly inappropriate?
i mean, unless you are mourning the loss of pikachu's innocence, of course.

Cool! Are you going to include walking into street signs? How about walking into the side of an RV? Or other art structure? Do the MV vehicles needs a cow catcher attached this year?TT120 wrote:I'm going to play pokemon on the Playa ironically. It will be my performance art.

Re: phuck your phone.
In the "I'm slow, but I catch on" department.
I was in my upstairs bedroom changing clothes when I heard these people laughing, well giggling actually, and when I looked out the window, there were three young people holding up their phones at the end of my driveway (I live out in the country so its a good 150 feet) and I heard bits and pieces like "Its over there" "No, I lost it" "Do you see it?" "Where is it?" "There it is" as they all pointed their phones at my house.
WTF is going on? I thought as they stood there seemingly debating whether to come on to my property or not.
As I hurriedly put a top and some shorts on, it dawned on me, they were playing Pokeman Go. They then turned away and headed up the street.
Kids. Outside. Interacting and playing games.
Whats this world coming to?

Next time you can pull a Clint Eastwood and tell them "Get off my lawn?" or at least turn the sprinklers on?

Re: phuck your phone.
That gave me a great idea. Take an old basketball, paint it some pastel color like sky blue, and paste some big eyes or something on it.
Then when I see the kids, roll it down the driveway at them.
They wouldn't know if its real or virtual!
Until it stopped at their feet and they looked up from their screens.
I'd probably get sued.

Ha! Love it!!! I especially like the cow catcher idea.

Beware of inviting trouble. It usually accepts.

I have at least eight, starting with a K-1000, some early Olympus', some Nikon SLR's ... just waiting. Granted, the DSLR is way cheaper to use.

I do love my DSLRs but somehow I miss my film.

I think I'll get some Styrofoam balls and paint them like the pokeballs and toss them onto passed out burners.
