Anyone here use SOULSEEK?

Post by ithinkpossible » Sun Jan 09, 2005 4:57 pm

Greetings friends & extended family!

Anyone here use SoulSeek? If you do, then skip down to the RED portion of this message!

If not, then this message will most likely be completely useless to you. However, if you are a P2P user and have never heard of or tried SoulSeek, then here is some info for you:

This really is the best! It is FREE. There is NO adware, NO spyware & there are NO banners. You will never go back to using Kazza or any of those other invasive programs! If you are interested in trying it out, then go to: http://www.slsknet.org

ANYWAY -- I started a user room for all of us with playa-dust coarsing thru our veins to be able to chat & share with each other! It's called THE BLACK ROCK CITY MEDIA MECCA [/size] and can be found in the user room list under the name: ! B.R.C. MEDIA MECCA !

The rules of the room:

1) It is a Commerce-Free zone, so everyone shares.
2) There are no spectators, everyone participates.
3) Don't be shy! Say hello and make a new playa-buddy!

Hope to see you there!

Peace, love & sincere respect,

ithinkpossible

p.s. this is NOT an AD and there is NO commerce involved.

I wanted to make clear that:

a) I am not affiliated with SoulSeek in ANY way.
b) SoulSeek is a not-for-profit organization which does not involve the SALE of anything what-so-ever.
c) This is NOT an advertisment for SoulSeek. I was intending to just let anyone know who might be a SoulSeek user, that there is a Burning Man chat room set up there - and letting those people know who utilize invasive, for-profit, spyware/adware fueled P2P software that there is an alternative which (I would imagine) would meet the standards of No-Commerce accepted by the Burning Man community.

If this is STILL considered inappropriate, then I would ask that a moderator delete my post, as I do not wish to offend or disrespect the community.

Peace & sincere respect,

ithinkpossible
