i think Steven was jealous that my boots have screws in the bottom, so he started kicking me. i *think* what happened is that i defended myself with my foot. I must be more flexible than i remember being, because Lydia's glasses flew off of her head. However, she was behind me.... maybe steven smacked her. i'm not so sure. lydia and i were sitting on the deck, steven was standing, if all of that helps define things a bit.

or are you discussing the earlier brawl with me and kev on the kitchen floor?

a big shout out to those who partied with us: you are officially the messiest people we know... (that's a compliment!!)

as i surveyed the kitchen this morning, I was struck with how similar it was to 2 weeks ago, when we had a party of 100 guests or so. we have yet to begin the cleaning efforts... we're entirely too hung over, as of yet. But, ya'll, we had a fantastic time. Thank you for coming!

I would also like to give a special shout out to our Miss Love, who endured both bodily and reputational harm (broken glasses, black eye, and WHY did you end up eating from the dog dish?? (though it was washed first, of course), but did end up kissing my ass at the end of the evening...
