"Road to Nowhere" is finally completed

Just a note to let those know who will be traveling US 395 from southern California and US 50 from California/lake Tahoe area that the final "phase" of the new freeway (The Road to Nowhere) through Carson City opened today. So if you're traveling north on 395, after you come down the hill into Carson City from Douglas county past Walmart and In-N-Out start looking for the ramp to go north on I 580 toward Reno. Coming east on 50, go straight across Carson St/395 in order to go north on I 580 toward Reno. In a nut shell you don't have to go through the downtown capitol area of Carson City unless you choose to do so.
15 years to build 10 miles of highway.
To me it still the "Road to Nowhere" since it really doesn't take travelers anywhere.
