Volunteer Meeting anyone?

Post by the_iconoclast » Sat Apr 02, 2005 6:45 am

It is 6:40am.. on a Saturday.. I am leaving the house to journey to SF for this meeting. Anybody else going? If you see a guy about 6'2" wearing a very loud Hawaiin shirt.. that'd be me.. Driving 9 hours for a 3 hour event... rawk..

Aw hell, wish I knew... I was there (brought the pot o' spaghetti for the foodfest)... would've looked you up. I was wearing black and white and my hat... no EL-wire (yet) but had my 1916 chauffeur's badge on it.

9 hours for a 3 hour event? Sounds like a burner to me! >>giggles<<

BTW, what did you think of the new plan for theme camps? Maybe I should do a poll...

I would recommend a poll...

I was invited to the DPW party but got lost in the City after I stopped off and bought a case of Heinekin... So after getting aggravated for close to 45 minutes in traffic and cryptically aligned One-Way streets, I finally gave up and headed for the freeway with the beer... got home at 2am.

The talk about the theme camp plan was interesting... not really familiar with prior year plans.. so a poll would definitely be a good idea.

And big it, er, they were... >>grins<< Gonna be one of them "dangerous People Workin'", eh? Awesome! I can't wait until I can get sprung from my present 9 to 5 to be able to have fun B-4 and after like them! Finally got the OK from work to be off the entire run plus a few days either side, so will be up there... um... "early". Prolly run into you then if not before... (BTW, work ESD as a Dsp., so was upstairs BSing with them almost the whole Town Hall...)

Glad you liked the 'sketti... adapted from an old family recipie (no joke there), but the original took about 100 sparrow breasts (granddad was a "meat cutter" back in the days when they allowed commercial duck hunting... - still have his 8 ga. "bring home the dinner" gun...) ... I did this one Vegan (just to be aware of some people's sensitivities) but usually zap it with varuous ground sausage and whatnot... turns out pretty good with venison...

Gotta fly - dinner's cooking!
