Where can I get a bigger version of this logo online?
It's what you make it.
Last year I needed a bigger logo and I just downloaded the small image and made my own. I used the down load and blew it up on a copier. After that I taped it to my sliding glass door, taped a clean sheet of paper over the top and redrew it. My version of a light table. Flat bed scanner did the rest.
Good Luck

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Thanks!
On a related note, anyone know about copyright for this image? Does BORG own this image and anyone know if they allow people to use it to, for example, make stickers?

There is most definitely a copyright on the logo image. There's also a copyright on 'Black Rock City' and yet another on the crescent shaped layout of the city. I'm sure there are a few others. On a related note, anyone know about copyright for this image? Does BORG own this image and anyone know if they allow people to use it to, for example, make stickers?
Can't really answer your question about what can and can't be used for stickers. Ordinarily common sense should dictate how someone chooses to use an image but... interpretation of such things is often one of the reasons copyrights get set up in the first place.

Right. I would never use someone's image illegally. I'll ask da BORG. Thanks!

The logo is copyrighted by a couple of members of the board. You are welcome to make whatever you want out of it as long as you are not selling your logo-fied items.
That particular logo originated, I believe, among the Rangers. There is a slightly bigger one on their site http://rangers.burningman.com .
(shhh...I was never here)

Great, thanks. I was thinking about just free stickers (maybe).
So is that image Ranger-specific? I mean, i don't want to be giving away stickers with logos that indicate ranger-hood...

No, it now only specifically means rangers when presented with the word "Ranger" or on a tan or khaki field.
edit: this post was redundant. Badger types faster.

Yeah, I *love* that one, in particular...perhaps ever since someone showed me their tattoo which was just like it...and I'm tempted, to get a tattoo, too. Call me a weenie but Burning Man really does change some people's lives...

I'm aware. I was just taking it one step farther.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to arrange that series of infinitely regressing ©s? Hit "Quote" on that message and have a look at the code. Must have taken me nearly twenty minutes to get it figured out.
