FUCK!!! Just had to start out that way!!
My GF fell and tore her knee apart,going into surgery and will be out of work for like 3 weeks.
My son lost his job, wrecked his truck,(and his insurance lapsed) broke his bike and isn't graduating (again).
We've added another mouth to feed in the house. I'm now the only bread winner (temporarily) and not getting any of the bread!!
We've had 3 forest fires that have caused us to evacuate, but now are back home. So the past 10 days have been a fuckity fuck fuck!!!
That's it for me, I'm done with the fuck rant!!
On to better days!!! Somebody pass me a drink!!

Acetaminophen.

I don't want to give people any ideas but, it happens accidentally enough to merit a warning.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol, etc; paracetamol for you overseas folks) will totally kill your liver, over a period of about a week, in doses not very far from therapeutic. Actually it can kill your liver at therapeutic doses if you drink alcohol regularly. I hate that fucking stuff.

Usual treatment for Tylenol OD involves ICU care, constant monitoring and protective infusions, but, unless you are really really lucky you wind up with liver transplant as your only hope.

We are talking $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ now. Your family will be paying that bill long after you're dead.

So it's a seriously fucked-up way to commit suicide unless you really want to punish everybody who cares about you. You die a lingering, painful, stinking and horrible death, while people who can barely stand your STENCH struggle uselessly to save you and wonder how this can ever be paid for.

The hospital finally called back about a spot that had opened up for my son at a child psychiatry facility (basically a school where he'd be evaluated all day long for learning disabilities and other malfunctions).

He called at my HOME while I was at WORK

Talked to my SON and not to ME.

Gave him the phone number to call back at LIGHTNING SPEED (which of course was wrongly transcribed) and NO NAME.

...along with the message that we'd have to call back to confirm right away.

Of course by the time I'd done all the wrong numbers to find the right one, their office was closed. And he did NOT call back before leaving the office.

I mean, FUCK!!! Does he think this isn't important to us? Like we haven't been waiting Every Single DAY for a call since it was promised in January? When we were told he was Top of the Heap in Importance and we'd be getting help within 3 weeks?????

I wouldn't worry, but he asked my SON (not ME) a couple of questions which he answered negatively regarding transportation. He might think this is impossible, but we'd do whatever it takes to make it happen. He'd better the fuck not have struck us from the list and given his spot to someone else based on that information!!!



I'm pretty livid right about now. actually I'm not pretty at all when I'm livid. Just trying to attenuate a strong emotion with the word "pretty". Did it work?
