For people looking for less risk than person-to-person ticket sales, Burning Man offers the Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP). STEP is a tool that facilitates the safe resale of authentic tickets and vehicle passes that have been purchased directly from Burning Man — it is the only guaranteed safe way to buy or sell tickets outside of regular sales. Our Secure Ticket Exchange Program will again be run by Lyte. STEP is only accessible through your logged-in Burner Profile.

STEP will open on 20th April 2022 at noon PDT for sellers to contribute tickets and for buyers to virtually queue in hopes of getting a ticket. See this page for complete details. See this page for frequently asked questions.
