Refund

I'm finding it impossible to get a response from ticketing. I was told a refund was made to my credit card for 2020 tickets, but my bank never received it. Now I get crickets when I submit follow-up e-mails to ticketing. I'm currently out $3,000+ and cannot get a human being to respond to me. Any tips on how to get a response?

Speaking strictly unofficially, your tickets were purchased nearly 2 years ago. I would try to reach ticketing again, but I'm not sure anything can be done at this point. You might try to request tickets for 2022, but that may not happen. Many people donated their ticket money to the org, and others requested partial refunds. Depending on the email trail, you may be able to get a reasonable resolution to this.

Straight from the tickets page from their website:
Tickets to Black Rock City have always been nonrefundable. That’s because we use ticket revenue to produce the event, and a lot of that spending has to start right around the time ticket sales happen. Your ticket money helps defray the costs of our permits from the government, staffing, equipment maintenance and repair, and more. Income from ticket revenue is what allows us to flip the switch and get cracking on making the event happen. We don’t offer refunds because we would not be able to move forward with our production timelines and hiring if we were not secure in our source of funding.

Ok, now i see it:
Though we have our sights set on a return to Black Rock City this year, we are still in the midst of an unpredictable pandemic.
Should circumstance prevent us from bringing our city back this year, and force us to cancel the event before early May, we intend to make a one-time exception to our “no refunds” policy and offer partial refunds of up to 50% of your ticket purchase.
If we have to cancel the event later than early May, we will be unable to make any exception to our policy, as a large amount of our necessary spending will already have taken place.

Yeah....about that.
Isn't that completely contrary to what they said when we were facing the first cancellation? Seems to me they said that ticket revenue was used for "other projects" & that the event was funded by wealthy donors.
Seems to me that the people in charge are lining their pockets. Remember the day when the event was created by the participants. Not to hard to fund that now is it. Yeah, I know permits...bla, bla, bla....Are they spending over $30M on portos? Really?

Ironically we all chuckled when the Fyre Festival imploded because we had a "real" event.
