The sale is overseen by humans who are doing their best to triple check and then some, it is possible that it doesn't start when the atomic clock strikes 12.

I wonder why they didn't have the queue this year.

The irony, of course, that the animated graphic and progress bar is no longer used largely because they were wildly inaccurate and the source of countless complaints.

hahha. at least every time the man made it to the end, I got tickets.

Got in at 12:07 (in 'queue' at noon). Bought and paid for. Actually the most painless experience for me since the event started selling out... Kind of surprised.
That Nevada tax was a surprise ($103), I had forgotten all about that one...
Haven't been back home in 7 years I think... Sooo looking forward to it!

I got through on the profiles button but . . .
The first time I hit it was a split second early and it gave me the "you are early" page.
Hitting back and re-clicking the link got the same thing.
Then I thought to hit refresh. that got it but very late dammit.

I got in with the Burner Profile link but the link I was emailed did not work (site not found). Now I'm in the usual waiting screen with a spinner telling me I'll be entered in the sale when it's my turn.

Similar…I got early early early from profile page at12:00 12:02, 12:03. Nothing nothing nothing from email link, the I hit try again instead of back on that and at ten min after got in queue, too late I fear.

I've heard from a few people who had the link in the email return an error. Glad you got through via profile, please feel free to spread the word on that.

I am in the field, on top of a hill at the moment connected through my phone. Got disconnected for a minute or two. Reconnected, and I still see the wheel spinning, I am losing hope.

Went through the profile, still in Queue. Entered at 12:00. Haven't been able to purchase a ticket via the main sale since 2014. This year seems no different. sigh...

this has been my experience during the last couple on sales. I lose sleep.

2018 was the only year I scored tickets through the on-sale. I've had to hustle every year. I hate it.

All Main Sale tickets and vehicle passes are currently in purchase carts. Tickets may become available as people finalize their purchases.

No system is infallible, and they do as good a job as possible.

Rather than sit here and babysit a website waiting for a chance, I like the websites that you register for an event, then get a link to buy if drawn. Buy at your own leisure with a week or so deadline to consummate before it expires and goes on to the next lucky person.

they tried a lottery system once, feedback was... not great lol

So instead they randomize the queue so people feel like its not a lottery.

I just had the thought that for a choice of addiction, heroin is a lot more readily available. Wish they’d say it was finished which it very likely was at 12:00:20

Yay, no tickets AGAIN. Every damn year it is like this. Every year. STEP never works, and I am tired of being forced to brave the scalper wilderness. I have tried and tried since 2014 with no success. Worse, none of my friends scored tix. Yet, I bet, scalpers will have plenty as they do each year. I am so done with this event.

I feel like i wasn't even close to getting in this year. All I got was a spinning wheel forever.
