Hi all! I got an email saying my tickets had shipped, but the email came from "pushpass.app" and looks scammy, first of all it says my Burning Man Wristbands were shipped. What the fuck is a wristband anyway, and there are some typos in the message.
Did any of yall get a tracking email from Pushpass? I have not gotten my tickets in the mail yet. Thanks!

I've read about other people seeing similar emails. It is most likely a scam and you should just await the arrival of your actual tickets.
As with all online-purchased products, you should not use any links in the emails but instead go directly to the site where you transact with the merchant for status updates.

I got an email that sounds exactly the same except for the tracking number. The tracking number link goes to UPS and it shows that the "wristband" was delivered. What was actually delivered was the vehicle pass.
Re: Ticket-shipped email but looks scammy - Pushpass?
I got the same email and also thought it looked really scammy (It is from "Burning Man Ticketing" but it is [email protected], and it says "Burning Man Wristband(s)", but ... it has my name right, along with my shipping address and tracking number in the email for my actual ticket shipment.
So, not sure how they would get that unless they hacked into the BM ticketing system, or some stage along the way.
It also says "package tracking will begin in approximately 1-2 days" and "Your estimated delivery time is 5-7 days", but in fact the tracking started 2-3 days ago (I've been monitoring My Tickets in BM pretty much daily) and the tickets arrived yesterday. But my wristband was missing !!
The only click-throughs are the tracking numbers and they legitimately go to UPS just like the BM ones do.
So, kind of really weird. Possibly just a bit more chaos and dysfunction in the ticketing "process". Because if it was all just smooth we'd all think that Burning Man had been replaced by pod people or something.

I received the same email, tracking number and package in the mail. The package contained the ticket, fireball candy and the Survival Guide. I was also confused at first, but it's actually legit.
Anyone else?

I had the exact same thing happen. Been tracking for days, got tix, next day wristband email with tracking link. Looks like bureaucratic automation snafu to me.
