(Ok, the alliteration will stop right there.) Hey! We’re the crew from the Playa Penthouse. You might know us by that high tower from which you watched the Man burn...or the sun come up a few years back. Or inside the chill-space where you lounged comfortably and talked about your big plans with a complete stranger. 

Playa Penthouse is back and better than ever. We’ve used our two years off the Playa to grow and imagine a whole new experience. We’ve upgraded all of our infrastructure, added much more interactivity, added a whole new sound system and we now have fully loaded DJ booth and light show to dance into the night! This year, Playa Penthouse is the new home of Eros Tangére, the always popular Electro Swing Soirée Retro Techno Party, the Venetian Box, an interactive dance/art installation and several attractions that are so new, we haven’t given them names yet! (maybe you can help?) Of course, the Playa Penthouse tower is back and ready to provide spectacular 360 degree views of the dusty city we’ve missed for so long. 

We’re looking for a few more fun campers to join us this year. We’ve got amazing placement (7:30 Portal and A street!) Right where the action is. (Yup, that’s the place, there’s no other action anywhere else. I promise) We’re a cool crew mostly from the Los Angeles area and our core crew have been to the Burn many, many years. We’re open to first time burners, (we love to show new Burners around) as well as long time veterans (you can tell us about that one year that it was better.) We’re LGBTQ friendly and open to ALL who share a passion for the Burning Man Community and all that it stands for. 

We have parties most nights, chill vibes during the day and some sensual activities for the adults at play. We have a kitchen area that you may share and plenty of space and shade. We don’t require any work shifts, but are always happy to have a hand on helping out. Get to know us, and enjoy our company and the many activities or go be wild and free out in in the city. We just ask that you help us keep our Leave-No-Trace efforts a total success, respect our camp members and have a great time. 

We ask for $150 camp dues per person to help offset the cost of the fuel used to get the infrastructure to and off the Playa and propane for the flame effects! Yeah, we've got that too!

Aloha Playa Penthouse Familia!!!

My sister, Peep, and I are in need of a Burn Ohana (family) for this year as it’s my first year and her second. We are magical beings who live on Maui, Hawaii - feeling super called to bring our hearts, gifts, laughter and sexy dance moves to contribute to your epic vibe.

The Penthouse sounds EXACTLY aligned with the energy we bring and what we are seeking from this experience. A little more about ourselves…

My name is Elfina, I’m a magical elf who is obsessed with astrology and teach others how to align with their soul’s blueprint. I also am an intuitive tarot reader, local artist and avid dancer and flow artist.

My sissy, Peep, is a quirky alien who is super passionate about making and spinning music as she DJs events on the island. She also loves to create clothing, cook delicious plant-based food and is also a devoted dancer.

The two of us are super easy going, up for adventure, fun and very respectful of our community and surroundings. We are here to pitch in contribute in any way needed!! We can offer DJing, performing, tarot readings, astrology readings, Jagua tattooing, clothing mending, cooking/baking, cleaning and anything else that is needed.

We love to entertain, to connect in meaningful ways, to hold space for anyone who may need it and to indulge in all the yumminess the Playa has to offer.

Greetings siblings,

Playa Penthouse is closed for new campers for 2022! Thanks to everyone that has reached out.

Those that have not received a reply, we have met our limit based on our space available and are not able to accommodate more campers. We still will have plenty of room for you to come play with us, meet us and enjoy each other's company. We have a lot of events and look forward to meeting you all.

For those with whom we have replied or are in communication with, those communications will continue and we'll continue to work together to decide on placement in our camp.
