Can other people try to get a ticket for me?

Post by super schafe » Fri Feb 24, 2023 6:21 pm

Hey!!

I will likely be attending by myself and would need a ticket and parking pass. Can my wife create a burner profile and try to buy a ticket at the same time I am? I know there are a lot of rules about transferring tickets, but this plan doesn't seem like it violates any of them. What if I recruit several people and we sit together when the sale starts trying to buy one, or possibly two tickets and a parking pass?

Thanks for the help!!

Good question. Tickets don't need to be transferred within your group of friends. There are no names attached to tickets, but if you sell one to a stranger and it gets jacked up in price, it boomerangs back to the original buyer. This is the safest way to buy a ticket.
As soon as the tickets go on sale, the scammers and thieves come out of the woodwork. They put pressure on to buy their tickets fast---because 3 other people are interested. If you show any interest in needing a ticket on ANY forum, you'll be getting a message from a stranger to send them money.
In many cases the scammers are offering the most expensive tickets, as these are even more lucrative for them.
