Hi,
My name is Alexis and I am going to playa for the first time.Me and my friend Jorge, are thrilled to be embarking on our first journey to Playa from our hometown of Arequipa, Peru. We're starting our adventure in San Francisco and are eagerly anticipating the unique and vibrant experiences that await us.

Throughout my life, I've been deeply committed to promoting equality and awareness. My work has primarily focused on empowering emerging economies, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Currently, I'm working on improving internet access, but I'm always on the lookout for innovative ways to connect people and help them realize their potential.

As newcomers, we're hoping to join a camp and immerse ourselves in the community spirit. If you have room for two enthusiastic, handy, and good-spirited Peruvians at your camp, we would be incredibly grateful. In return, we promise to contribute the best of Peruvian cuisine and share captivating stories from our extensive travels all around the globe (and beyond sometimes).

Please feel free to reach out if we can join your or just if you want to say Hi :) . We're looking forward to making this a memorable experience

What are you bringing with you materially? All your food and water? Your shelter and bedding?

Many newcomers post with their default world c.v. And I wonder if they’ve ever been on a camping trip. Burning man is more like camping, than anything else.
You could wait to be recruited for your obvious magnetic aura, or… you could
read more of the informational material on the main burning man website. https://burningman.org/

And you could look at the list of camps and what they do, providing their contact info. That could lead you to a good fit, and show you have the initiative to learn about what theme camps do besides provide accommodations. Excellent people camp in open camping too. Last year’s camps may be returning. https://burningman.org/event/participat ... p-listing/

Maybe look In the global directory for a regional contact: https://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/

I hope it all goes well. Maybe up your practical skills at desert camping too. Say you are passionate about LNT, decomodification, self reliance…. Will help moop the camp as a priority.

Welcome to your first burn. I can't help you with a camp, but you might look into what https://burnerswithoutborders.org/ does.
