We needed to get our RV flatbedded from Auburn CA to San Jose CA after the event in 2024, and used EMM Enterprises (who we found via a site called Heavy Haulers / Nationwide Transport Services). It seems NTS does the dispatching, and then finds a local hauler that actually does the move. EMM was the actual transport service, based out of Tracy CA, I think.
The overall experience was solid — managed to get things set up within 24 hours, and the delivery done within 48 hours. The driver from EMM (Eric) was awesome, and he is looking to do more playa-oriented transport of big freight in 2025. So, if you need an art car, RV or other stuff shlepped up and down 447, highly recommended. Feel free to DM me and I can give you more info.

You might consider mentioning to him that if he's interested, he may want/need to look into becoming an OSS Outside Service Provider.

Is it a transport service like the guy owns his truck and finds freight through brokers, or is it a transport service like he owns a fleet and equipment?
If it’s an owner op, an individual might want to see about contracting with one of the already approved OSS logistics vendors for the burn season. From what I understand it’s a series of hoops and expenses to get OSS approval from the Borg.
