Hi ! my camp friend left my suitcase within my PASSPORT on lost and found wed morning , it’s a big black suitcase with red name tag on ( Dave Hyslop) if anyone know how to get contact with lost and found department, please kindly let me know. My phone number and WhatsApp is ‪+1 (305) 464‑0833‬.

The official Burning Man lost and found on playa is being packed up and moved to San Francisco. Keep searching burningman.org for lost and found. They will announce how to reach them.

From the 2022 After event Lost and Found department report:

Lost and Found "decided to prioritize the logging of phones, licenses, passports, wallets, purses and bags, which are the items most frequently lost and which are critical for most Burners to travel home following their time in BRC — causing the most angst when lost and the most gratitude when reunited." In 2022 about 2000 items were logged, photographed, published in a database and reunited to their owners.

They will announce when they are unpacked in San Francisco there. In past years, there was an ePlaya lost and found topic created after the admin returned from the burn. It will have instructions. Then all the lost and found posts were moved there.

If your suitcase was found and then checked into the official on-playa lost and found, it is probably safe. But it may take time to get it back to you.

I (stupidly and irresponsibly) left two rings in a porto potty on Sunday night - my wedding ring and ring from my gran. According to Facebook my one ring was found and handed in to lost and found. If anyone found any rings please be in touch with me. These are the two most important and sentimental things I own. I am praying for a playa miracle!!

What street in Oakland? My lost phone tuned on today at 1018 Promendade st. In Hercules, CA right near Oakland.

Mine says it was in the 1200s of Pine Street in Oakland

MISSING: wire-wrapped laboradorite OWL PENDANT.

I lost this very special pendant, a gift from a dear friend, when the chain broke around Tuesday night somewhere between esplanade/deep playa, probably on the 3oclock side. I also lost a silver, wood, and antler ring that was hanging on the chain as well that's also super important to me. I noticed the chain was broken at the Axolotl art car late that night. I know it's a long shot but really hoping some playa magic will bring one or both back to me.

Will they re-open the lost and found on website? No # to call.
My son lost his cell possibly on one of the express buses to reno. Trying to help him locate...

Yes, there will be a Lost and Found.
Yes, thousands of items will be catalogued and returned to their owners.
Yes, it will be very slow. It will take months.

For items like Phones and IDs … best to get replacements and hope for the best.

I hate to give you this piece of news, and I hope that you find your phone. Last year, I lost my phone on the Playa, and 4-5 days after the burn it turned up in San Francisco. I could track it to a few blocks from the BM headquarters with the Samsung's find my phone platform. I waited months for L&F to update their catalog. Finally, around November, they confirmed that they don't have my phone.

The phone was likely turned on in San Francisco to charge and then resettled. I had my contact information on the phone screen too. I am here again this year just in case the phone was accidentally left in a box or forgotten about. I know it's false hope, but I want the memories inside that phone so badly. That was my first burn

The phone was the latest model of its brand. I won't be surprised if some lost (and found) phones find new owners post Playa.

I lost my black TUMI luggage with e-bike. My friends who I came with had to leave the burn for a family emergency and my bag was left outside with a bike lock attached to my e-bike on 8:15 & J. I had to look for a ride home and when I came back to pick up my bag and bike they were both gone. If you grabbed them or know anything please let me know. Thanks

Hi BM fam, I lost a blue backpack which contained my airpods and car key. It was last seen near 2:30 & E. Pack also had a spare pair of clothes and shoes so was fairly full. I can track the airpods and I 've marked them as lost - they are somewhere near Vegas at the moment. Would be gateful for any leads. Thank you! - Gouty

I was on the Friday, September 1st bus that was stranded in front of Gate Road. All passengers had to stay overnight and most missed flights and had to walk to the main road and get very expensive flight changes and car services to Reno.

I had to abandon a HUGE burgundy roller suitcase. It has my info on a red NY Philharmonic luggage tag and a B&W BxB sticker on it. Someone from my bus returned Sunday and said the bags were taken to a place near the depot but no one from my camp could locate it or find anyone who knew what had happened to the bags. I have camp members who live in Gerlach and who could get it if we could find where it is!

FOUND: BIKE LIGHT WSDCAM bike light. The light will only work if you have both parts. I have one part if you have the other part.
