[urgent] Can anyone put me in touch with the LNF volunteers? Trying to retrieve a lost phone before next week.

First of all, I want to express my thanks to all of the volunteers that make up the Lost and Found team - I'm truly amazed at how organized the database and how nicely everything is catalogued. Y'all rock!

My phone shows up in the database (see attached picture). I am trying to see if there is any way to retrieve it sometime in the next 1-2 weeks, as there are some time-sensitive materials on there. I've filled out the online form a couple times since it was logged on Monday morning after the burn, but have not received a response so far.

Would anyone happen to have a direct contact to the volunteers, or know what email address that their communication typically comes from? I have been checking my spam folders but do not see anything, and I am worried that my phone might not get back to me in time. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you! :D

Hey there! I can't help you, just responding because I'm in the same boat. Could you update this post once you hear back from LNF? I'll do the same. Thanks ✌🏼

Hi, I just heard back from LNF earlier today. I believe I submitted my claim on either the 5th or the 6th of Sept., if that gives anyone an idea of timeline (they work them in chronlogical order from date of claim submittal). They are working through the long backlog, have faith and best of luck!

Meant to post this a while ago...but unfortunately my package showed up with all of its contents empty (aka stolen while in transit) - presumably due to the fact that there was no other packaging inside, making it pretty easy to determine that it was a phone. Lessons learned for next year - I would love to encourage the wonderful LNF volunteers to consider giving the recipient an option to pay a bit extra for packaging/bubble wrap to discourage items getting nabbed in the future! Hope this information helps those going forward!
