Misfit Island (Returning Camp) Seeking Campmates – 3:30 Sector

Misfit Island is back and recruiting a few solid burners for this year’s build.
We’re a returning theme camp focused on fun, and doing things well or to the best of our limited abilities
. This year we’re stepping up our shade structure and creating a lounge-and-bleacher situation for playful commentary near the Orgy Dome exit. Think cheeky encouragement, celebratory applause, and absurd color-commentary energy. Consent-forward. Funny, not feral. NO CREEPS ALLOWED!
We’ll also be hosting DONK, our beloved pig-throwing game. It’s ridiculous. It’s competitive. It makes zero sense and that’s the point.
Who we’re looking for:
People who contribute, not spectate - although we hope to be a bit of a spectacle.
Willing to help with build and strike
Leave No Trace is MANDATORY.
NO DUES we just want a few people to help set up our tiny camp - we're not a mega camp, so don't expect showers or city sized infrastructure. You take care of you, and bring what you need, we'll do the same and all give each other helping hands. We might ask if you can cook some bacon for visitors or maybe lead some Orgy Dome heckling fun. We're also open to ideas. If you want to lead or organize something for the BM community we're all ears.
Vibe: capable adults with playful instincts. A few of us are sober or low-drinking. Some of us are far from sober high-drinking. We care about consent, effort, and keeping camp drama low. We volunteer other places as well, so we're not always going to have a ton going on in our camp other than the games and shade, so while we expect help with set up and tear down, we encourage all to volunteer elsewhere as well. We support that and just hope to get to know each other as we pass by and provide for each other. We hope to arrive the Thursday before the event for set-up, and will tear down Saturday before the burn and wrap completely by Sunday.
We can help assign tickets through the steward sale if we can communicate and discuss expectations 1:1 prior to February 27th. If not, you'll have to secure your own tickets, but we'd love to help however we can and possibly offer early entry as well to a few who are willing.
