Yum Cart - 20 Year Art Project - LOST/STOLEN

Post by samcomen » Sun Oct 04, 2026 3:46 pm

Hi my name is Sam Comen. My flavor bar, The Yum Cart, has been on playa for 20 years. It’s built on a single axel open deck trailer, sized 5x8’.

Unfortunately someone took it from the playa after the event this year, before our storage vendor could pick it up. It disappeared sometime between Weds after temple burn and Friday of that week.

We are hoping that someone took it by mistake thinking it was MOOP. Or that someone needed a hauler for abandoned bikes and put it to work. In any case, we are offering a cash reward and no questions asked for the return of our cart.

Might you have seen it?

It’s a 5x8’ open deck single axle trailer with red tube structure on top. Thanks for letting us know if you’ve seen her!

It does look awfully small for something that would have been hauled by an OSS vendor. Was it left in the plaza, or at a specific camp's address?
