2025 theme for the Burn: "Stalker," from the Andrei Tarkovsky film.
"In an unnamed country at an unspecified time, there is a fiercely protected post-apocalyptic wasteland known as The Zone. An illegal guide (Aleksandr Kajdanovsky), whose mutant child suggests unspeakable horrors within The Zone, leads a writer (Anatoliy Solonitsyn) and a scientist (Nikolay Grinko) into the heart of the devastation in search of a mythical place known only as The Room. Anyone who enters The Room will supposedly have any of his earthly desires immediately fulfilled."
I'm already working on my deep playa art piece

The original Zone trip …
Maybe a half dozen folks left in the BORG that would get it.
John Law would laugh his ass off.

Re: 2025 Theme
I just wish they'd still reveal next-year's theme the week after Burning Man.

My suggestion: Desertion (the action of deserting a person, cause, or organization) After 3 brutal years of heat, then mud, then wind and dust, even loyal Burners are thinking twice about returning.
