Well as others have been having luck, I thought I'd ask if anyone got a particular shot as well. I'm lookin gfor a shot of me on the night of the Burn. I'm 6' 6", was painted like a Mori warrior, had on a dark blue fur cape, a black kilt, and was carrying a wooden staff. I've got some good face shots, but I'm looking for anyone who got the whole ensemble. And if anyone can tell me just how the hell to post pics on these boards then I can give you the pics that I have to get you started on what I looked like. Thanks!

Hey thanks a lot. I shoot mostly commercial work in the real world. I don't get to shoot fun stuff like this very often. I have about 150 strong images from this shoot. It was perfect conditions to shoot fineart / fashion. Notice the dust storm blowing in on the second image.....the mountains are completely obsured....very cool

2003 photo collage
To Black Rock City 2003 we say good-bye,
so we can create it anew again.
Our last gift is our photos,
so we may always remember.
Our 2003 photo collage is now online at

Does anyone out there have a photo of me (blond English girl with braids):
1) .. wearing a silver sequinned stetson, purple sequinned butterfly top and long purple skirt dancing on top of the Temple of Gravity one night (I remember a photographer coming up there with us and I forgot to get his details)
2) .. dancing on the playa on Monday morning at sunrise in barefeet wearing a blue sarong and flowy top (purple, orange and red) - I was also doing white flags (like poi) and got filmed a couple of times.
3) ... doing fire in the circle on the night of the burn. I was wearing a purple sequinned butterfly top and silver sequinned stetson and spinning poi with the Reno spinners (not far the Mutaytor stage)
I would really like these images if they are out there. I lost my camera and would be delighted to get hold of any of them.
Cheers!

I haven't had time to go through a lot of the pix but I loved some of the camp Saraswati ones. In particular the ones from inside the Kaleidoscope and the Temple of Gravity stand out but a lot of other good ones too.
The more I look at all the pix the more inspired I get. I was going to take some time off before starting on 04 stuff. At this rate I'm already ready to get started again. Decompression? I don't need no stinkin decompression....

Shots from Porch Camp
Here are mine. Largely my campmates, but some other cool stuff too. Enjoy.

i have a request for photos - i'd post one so you could have a clue as to what i look like, but as yet have not been able to locate one ( recently lost 24 lbs - old pictures look like a completely different person.
so, this for anyone who took pictures of me at brc bodypainters guild getting airbrushed as a mermaid.
also, the night i got to brc, that'd be thursday, my friend eric and i had pictures taken of us in front of the billboard signs, making a toast to my quote:
"the light shining forth from my vagina will heal us all"
i realize it's a long shot...

Thanks Digiman!!
I got seriously burnt out bringing the BuddhaBus to the Playa in 2002. It was there this year, but as a stationary home/chill space for my friends who built Flight to Mars. Next year it will come back as something new and more amazing than the Mahayana.
Namaste,
Patrick

Speaking of Photos
Am wondering how/why it is that the San francisco Chronicle (www.sfgate.com) can get away with selling photos - starting at $40/ea - of the event.
Great shots BTW, but stil....something stinks here.

Here is one of our pinhole shots from this year. Pinhole images are negatives -- it looks like our web guru inverted this one in Photoshop. It was taken with one of our mobile barrel cameras. The print itself is about 30"x40".

Most of our pinhole images from this year aren't up yet, but when they are they will be at http://pinholecamp.org. Galleries from '98-'02 may also be found there.
