Hahaha Simon, I met a retired special forces officer at the event early 2000's who operated in Afghanistan. They would harass the Taliban way behind their lines by sneaking into their camps at night and cutting the ropes holding up their tents. He quit the military when command told them to shave their beards and stop being creative in their psyops. He totally vibed BM and had a plan to buy some cheap NV land and dig some underground survivalist village. He seemed to be a little crazy.

I haven't heard of a news conference on playa... Many of you know The Yes Men. They attend conferences and set up press conferences to make announcements on behalf of large corporations, trade groups and lobbyists, announcing pro-human changes in policy, toward policies the organizations know are right, but can't quite bring themselves to say.

Of course it is a complete hoax. They have several full length documentaries and video clips you can find easily on the interwebs.
