Druid Crow Dancers wanted

Post by space monk » Wed Mar 21, 2007 12:26 pm

hello fellow ignited ones. before i explain what i'm seeking to do allow me to tell a short story.....

opening scene: Stonehenge, halloween night 2006. me alone, an american wizard in england. jump the fence, sneak into the stargate. transmorphination complete.

next scene: later that night, in the town of glostenbury (aka Isle of Avalon, where King Aurthur reigned and Merlin lives) i stumbled upon a party filled with witches and warlocks. after 2 hours of stomping (that's how they dance) to radical drum&bass and industrial techno, in march the crow guild.

crow guild: 40 dancers, faces painted white with black stripes arcoss the eyes and tribal swirls. most wore top hats and dusty coat tails. they lined up, 5 to a row, 8 rows, each held a cain or staff, and they preceeded to jig while chanting "to life, to death, to life and death as one!" over and over. hundreds of us chanted along. was truly amazing.

what i want to do: create the crow guild at Burning Man and have the guild perform before the man burns. we will commune at BRC.

if you're interested email me at [email protected] and over the next months i'll keep you updated

one last thing: after Hope & Fear, as i took one last ride around BRC, out past the temple i spotted a crow on the ground. he danced and sang. as i fumbled with my camera, to shoot this rareity, he bolted. i see this as a synchronicity that must be expanded.

peace

I found it absolutely fucking hilarious that the first serious of offer to help with resurrecting the powers of Stonehenge was someone asking if they needed a Drum n Bass dj ......

.... but then I remembered that those are pretty much Britain's 2 greatest contributions to the world, and so it makes sense.
