In light of Burning Man 2007, I thought I would offer the people of this community as well as Black Rock itself a little birthday gift.

Sun in Virgo. The image for Virgo is a young virgin girl (hehe). However, most people who know a Virgo will tell you there is a lack of innocence in this sign. It's not so much that the Virgin represents innocence, but new experiences. They are incredible meticulous and organized sorts, whom will analyze situations thoroughly before acting.

Music often follows a Virgo. That is because they are in search of perfection. Music is a timed perfection that they find very attractive.

As far as sex goes, the 5th house may rule romance, but the 8th house gets down to the sex act itself, your style of sex, your tastes, what turns you on. This includes any fetish you may have. This house is the house of Scorpio.

Mercury in Leo. Mercury is about communication. When it's in Leo, you're going to see where Burning Man gets it's loud roaring voice going. It wants to show off! It's glamorous, and feisty... and self-promoting.

This is a fire sign influence, so, the communicative abilities of Mercury are going to activate both the air moon (because fire stimulates air and vice versa) as well as the mind of the sun, for Virgo is ruled by the air planet Mercury.

So, now you can understand how and why individual promotion of the event went so far, from an astrological standpoint. Each time someon tells another about Burning Man, it's activating the power of it!!!!

Thanks for the present.
I read that the word "disaster" comes from Babylonian astrology.
"Dis" was the word for bad (like Dis-respect)
"Aster" was the word for star (like Astr-ology)
So "disaster" means "bad star".
