Pictures...
Since I can't seem to find the "proper" place to ask this on this new fangled e-playa...
Two things:
1. If anyone has any pictures of the burning bellies (belly dancing) event Fruday afternoon (either in the cafe or at the Man), I would be much obliged for pics and/or links
and
2. Early Sunday morning, a friend and I were sitting at the pyramid with the pool deck chairs on the playa just outside center camp, both in outrageous fur coats, when a photographer came along and asked if he could take our picture...I should have gotten his name/info, but I didn't think about it at the time--I'd really like a copy of the pic if you're out there reading this.
Thanks all you photo peeps!
--Ivy (who only took about 3 pics this year...)

I need a playa fix back in this other strange world!
Hey princess--
I appreciate the offer. The burning bellies were hard to miss if you were photographing them--about 40 bellydancers making their way from the cafe to the man. I was in a sort of cow/dalmation spotted belly dance outfit adorned with beands with all sorts of words on them. I know tons of people took photos (we had a whole crowd following us as we went along), just hoping to see some of those shots.
Sunday morning is the one that will be hard to peg--I didn't even get the guy's name. I was wearing this coat (http://members.aol.com/epicntr418/coat.JPG) and my friend had a simialr one in red/yellow/purple.
And while I'm hoping for miracles, I know people took my picture during the whiteout--I was sitting on the ground outside the temple of Honor, and I'd love to see that too...
I know there's literally thousands of photographers out there and the chance of hooking up with these photos is slim to none, but it can't hurt to try, right?

Out of the week, this was the only sunrise I was able to be awake for. Taken after the night of the Burn, out by the Temple of Gravity with this beautiful creation greeting the rising sun with a rooster crow unlike anything I heard! Any info on the artist and particulars of this vocal fire belching creation appreciated.

I have the first of my three photo galleries online.

These portraits of my campmates (Vogon 42) were taken with a 4x5 SnapDragon pinhole camera with a Polaroid back.
While the film is a little pricey, I'm looking forward to camping out on the Playa and photographing all who will let me.

this seems to be the place to ask if anyone has certain photos so here i go. i'm really hoping someone has some photos of us dressed as seven pregnant nuns with blue habbits on offering bloody marys. we managed to get through the entire week without anyone of our group or friends getting a single photo of us all together
!!i know that there were a couple of photos taken on the tuesday night and also when we went to see reverend billy of the church of stop shopping at the man there were some people filming us as we were dancing at the front. it would be greatly appreciated if anyone out there has anything!!love to all you lovely burners and see you all next year xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My non-panoramic photos
I don't have my giant panoramas yet, and I posted in the other photo thread, but why not be doubly redundant?
My non-pano photos are up at http://www.templetons.com/brad/photo/bm03/
