Jesus Christ on a Popsicle Stick!!!!

This is something I'd expect the English to get and the Americans to have no clue about!

It's sandwiched somewhere in between the invasion of Poland and the miracle at Dunkirk.

And the meaning of it is never fix your guns so that they can't shoot back the other way.

maybe

IMAGINE ME IN THE MAGINOT LINE
(Gifford / Cliffe / George Formby)

George Formby

You should see me out in France wearing my tin hat
With shot and shell it's worse than – well it's even worse than that
Now imagine me in the Maginot Line
Sitting on a mine in the Maginot Line
Now it's turned out nice again
The Army life is fine
French girls make a fuss of me
I'm not French as you can see
But I know what they mean when they say "oui, oui"
Down on the Maginot Line

Now imagine me in the Maginot Line
Sitting on a mine in the Maginot Line
Now it's turned out nice again
The Army life is fine
The enemy we had to chase
But my gun got out of place
I went and shot the Colonel in the base
Down on the Maginot Line

(Ukulele Break)

Now imagine me in the Maginot Line
Sitting on a mine in the Maginot Line
Now it's turned out nice again
The Army life is fine
At night, myself to sleep I sing
To my old tin hat I cling
I have to use it now for everything
Down on the Maginot Line

Now imagine me in the Maginot Line
Sitting on a mine in the Maginot Line
Now it's turned out nice again
The Army life is fine
Suddenly a pain I felt
A doctor on my tummy knelt
He slapped a poultice underneath my belt
Right on the Maginot Line

(Ukulele Break)

Now imagine me in the Maginot Line
Sitting on a mine in the Maginot Line
Now it's turned out nice again
The Army life is fine
Hitler can't kid us a lot
His secret weapon's tommyrot
But you ought to see what the sergeant's got
Down on the Maginot Line,
Down on the Maginot Line.

You all loved me.

Thanks.

Laters.

Banning Americans would probably be the first thing on my agenda.

Your a Brit? Than you'll love this! The Maginot line was a brilliant line of defense, built by the french, after WW1. Unfortunately, it didn't cover the entire border. So in WW2 th Germans simply went around it. And...as all the guns were fixed towards Germany, they couldn't fire back at the invading German army. If it makes you feel better, I love meeting Brits at B.M. wasn't knocking you.

At first I was thinking - maybe I really ought to know what a Maginot line is.

And then I thought, fuck that, I MUST be Jesus Christ! as I have to stick frozen popsicles up my bum to soothe my Proctalgia Fugax.

In response to Roberto Dobbisanos' original question, Yes ALL English people that meet Simon of the Playa's description should most deffinately be banned from BM. They should also be banned from England!

However, the English with half a brain spray their pasty skin golden brown, spunk a fortune on dentistry and drink Chateau Nuef de Pape.
(I actually decanted mine at the Burn and drank it from a real wine glass -though I did guzzle Chablis from the bottle but, thats OK!!! as I was upside down at the time)

WTF is a boiled meat pie? Do we really have those? How the fuck do you know all this shit?????

Is this what they teach you in your schools? - In ours they taught us how to blow stuff up, run fast and something about the dangers of recreational drugs (Sounds like a full lifestyle to me!)

And I was so hoping to hear the term "minge." I don't know if it's British, but I'll always think of it so because of the accent.

British humour.
It's not all Jerome K. Jerome.

Fringe or minge?
http://www2.b3ta.com/gash-or-tash/
Alternate titles for the game-

Gash or tash?
Beard or clam?
Fanny or facial?
Fringe or minge?

Can you tell?
Can you spot the difference?

Is it a gash?

Or is it...

a tash?

And just for fun...

Make them pack up their dull art and ship them off with the germans

Unless they bring beer, 4 full kegs if it's ale!

Why less keg then the germans because their beer is lower in calories and alcohol!

So lighten up you brits
