Wharf Rats?
This will be my 1st BM. Known about it for years, just couldn't get away. As an old sober Deadhead, I was wondering if any Wharf Rats attend BM. Will I see any yellow balloons flying around and know I have some friends?

You'll see all colors of balloons. And you'll have some friends.
I went searching for gdead camps last year and found a few. No Wharf Rats tho.
You might want to check out "Anonymous Village"..

The webpage is not active but you could probably message the admin.
Have a good one!

Hi Bluesbob. If you want to attend 12-step meetings at Burning Man be sure to check out Anonymous Village. They have meetings there every 3 hours. There is also Camp Stella a queer and queer friendly camp that has an AA meeting every day at 3:00 in the afternoon.bluesbob wrote:This will be my 1st BM. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

It's been awhile since that post. Thanks for the information. If anyone else is interested in a sober camp, I've found four so far:Mojori wrote:Hi Bluesbob. Anonymous Village
Camp Stella
Hokey Pokey Camp
Vamp Camp
There is another camp, can't remember the name, that is also sober. They are just sober people, not affiliated with any program.
Talk to these camps if you're interested in joining them, or watch the Guide to find out when meetings are if the 12 Steps is your thing. (Last I saw there were about 15 meetings per day)
