I have lost track of how many times a day i think about BM. It's going to be my first time so i'm constantly running a check list through my head of stuff to bring and different costume designs. I just can't wait for that burning heat, art, and love!

And the burning itch that can go along with it.

thk127... I'm glad you're excited. The planning is so much fun, isn't it? We're taking three birgins this year and it's actually putting some spring back in our camp's step. I like you new people with all your excitement and stuff.

I love that my BM pile is getting larger. Ziplock bags on had to start the first part of packing when I get that far. Though my cat seems to believe that pile was created as a secondary bed for him.

King Reagan.

Oddly enough, I have a fun little ritual of play I do every year that I’m not getting into a truck to drive across the country, I’m boarding a spaceship and blasting off to the ends of the universe. The stops along the way are really brief stays on the moon and various planets of our solar system. The morning of the last day, we’re actually jumping to light speed as we leap off the edge of Pluto. It’s a long trip, even at light speed, usually arriving at Fernley, Nevada around 10:00 pm local time, where there is a large worm hole. You can’t see it if you look straight at it, but if you look a bit to the left you might catch it out of the corner of your eye. Point your ship up highway 447 and drop over the rim… for two and a half hours you are sucked along with other voyagers and there’s nothing but stars all around you. Then finally you land at a gathering along the edge of the known universe.

It truly is like another planet… especially at night.

Yeah… have fun with the planning and the journey.
