how about BTB?
i like LNT, no i LOVE Leave No Trace, but how about evolving into Better Than Before?
as i take my daily strolls, i try to pick up moop along the way, hence finding it better than before....i didnt leave anything to trace, but i actually gained moopage, or a net moop plus.
long story short....i used to litter.
i never thought about it, i just did it.....everyone else did...no one seemed to care...
including me.
my cousin taught me otherwise, and now, me personally, i have a lot of garbage karmic offset points to make up for, so i am trying to leave things better than i found them.
for example, you go out one night on the playa, and you have a great time along the way at various peoples camps and parties.
ok...you're a good burner, you kept your butts in an altoid can etc etc.
but did you pick up anything that WASNT YOUR FAULT?...you know, just for the hell of it.
maybe help those people out who play host to the hordes of "Participants" by participating in a little garbage pick up.
you see, the thing about a nicy tidy place is people tend to Keep it tidy, and of course the opposite applies for a shithole.
KEEP THE PLAYA TIDY!
earn some bonus brownie points with the gods of dust.
JUST DO IT BECAUSE ITS NICE AND IT MAKES EVERYTHING JUST THAT MUCH EASIER.
it's not that hard, and you'd be surprised at how well it works.
so, yeah, help out your neighbor, be aware of your place and impact, and PLEASE Leave it Better if you cant Leave No Trace.
