Reporting Burning Man trademark and IP violations

Postby trilobyte » Tue Oct 14, 2014 5:05 pm

If you should happen across an individual or company that you believe is violating Burning Man's trademark policy, posting a thread about it on ePlaya is not the right way to report that. Even if your intent is to express shock and outrage, we do not want to give any of these operations even a single extra click or page view.

The appropriate way to raise the flag on questionable behavior is to send the pic, advert, link, and other details to the Burning Man IP team using the address. The team will investigate the report and take action if necessary (most of the time things are sorted out amicably).

The trademark and image use policy can be found here.
