I have not seen anyone say a word about you or your website, but then again, I am new on ePlaya. The website is kind of tedious to read through, though. I suggest you add a coherent two-paragraph summary to the very beginning of the front page.
Also, from what I read it seems to me that you would reach your ecological goals better by working with the BM people concerned about the same things, instead of using your time in stupid bickering and breeding hostility. Not that I am an expert.

This is a good 1 sentance summary of this "group". Here would be a possible 2 paragraph summary (IMHO);Janka wrote:...kind of tedious to read through...
This is a group (possibly only 1 person pretending to be a group) that has a history going back a few years of posting anti-burningman rhetoric on Eplaya. The main points appear to be that burningman "harms" the black rock desert playa, the people that attend burningman are not environmentally conscious, and that the BMllc is in cahoots with the BLM to let this event continue. Most Eplayans ignore him now.
In years past, some members of this group belonged to another group devoted to driving dodge neons at high speed across the playa. They claim they do not do this anymore, but one of the main objections they raise is the alleged creation of "playa serpents" in the region of the BM city. The implication is that BM is responsible for these "playa serpents" (despite the fact that their existance has been documented long before BM ever existed). Some Eplayans think that this alone explains the group's motivation, and that they still race their dodge neons (and object to being closed out for the few months that BM is there...)

Ah, typosaurus rex has finally learned to send his "prose" through the spellcheck before posting here.
Does anyone notice that his grammer is worse than the finns?
Oh well, I guess I'm a confirmed "basher." Would that I was as good as re-writing history.

Fortunately (unlike the real world) this is an open board. I suspect what you have to say is a rehash of previous comments and arguments and would be using this board for your personal crusade with little to no concern for the opinions, comments, and intentions of others (and thier community).allanon2 wrote:you will see many people bashing me and saying what we say on our website is a lie well take a look for yourself and see the other truth...we are a open society correct? we like conversation and freedom of speach.

Dang, Mr Mellow has posted five times and been a member of the site for a whole day. Yet we have already corrupted his mind to that extent.

If that's the case, the one who does the wounded pride of rex is a master. And that he can fake snivel so quickly is truely astonishing.

I don't know about Cacophony but if you'd heard him on the radio a few months back you'd have laughed your ass off. The guy elucidates with the same level of 'expertise' that he displays in his typing skills.
Definitely a whiney mass of bumbling fucktardness. I pissed on myself laughing at his radio cameo. Christ, even the radio announcer steered clear of tagging him as anything other than 'an opponent of BM.'

Sigh. Welcome back, Rex. Those who aren't familiar with Rex might check out this thread. Rex is one of those fun people who, when the argument doesn't go his way, is of good cheer because he knows that he can repeat the same discredited points ad nauseum until his more rational opposition gets tired of responding to him ad nauseum, leaving him with the last word.allanon2 wrote:you will see many people bashing me and saying what we say on our website is a lie well take a look for yourself and see the other truth

Rex, there is nothing censorious about referring to somebody who resorts to that kind of tactic as being a pest. What can I say, other than *plonk*? I've had my turn, now the newer newbies can go play with you.
Yay! I KNEW there was a reason to visit the e-playa again. Its like a virtual meet and greet in here! We all share a common interest in bashing everyone's favorite easy target.
Glad to see that Rex is back for another round of everyone calling him on his bullshit.

Anonymity of a SOCKS Proxy. As SOCKS (as it was already marked above) transfers all data from a client to a server, nothing adding from itself, from the point of view of a web-server, a socks proxy is a client. Therefore anonymity of this type of proxy servers is very high.: http://www.checkproxy.net

If you go to the site at other times of the year, you
will see that there is a depression now at the site.
The very silt picked up and blown out now is a
different color than the silt from elsewhere on the
playa. This is because the protective crust (which is
damaged elsewhere on the playa) but completely
destroyed year round on the site itself. The silt
which leaves the site is deposited down wind, some on
the playa, some in the Jackson mountains and some
clear out on the Owyhee desert.
As much as pollution from the coast and central valley
of California damages the Sierra, the silt blown out
over Northern Nevada damages the environment. Have
you ever wondered why the air clarity in Nevada is
less than in Arizona and in New Mexico? It is because
of the silt blown out of the many dry lake beds.. The
problem with the BM site is the intensity of the loss.
Not to mention that the use of the wilderness for a
dense urban city is a blight on the human soul. A zit
on God's masterpiece.
the above was posted by treecutter a very respected local, and guide in the blackrock desert.

Hey Wrecks...
How soon are we supposed to forget the photos of YOU racing your Neon on the playa, slidin' around and screwing up the surface a HELL of a lot more than I ever do slowly cruising my artcar a few days a year?
You're a hypocrite of the first order. Case Fucking Closed.
