Camp Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie

Post by border_guy » Thu Sep 18, 2003 8:04 pm

This was my first year at BM. As is the norm I have already quit my job (hah but really no kidding) and I am now wanting to add more to the community at large.

I was really impressed by the fun i had at camps that had kinetic themes (ie they had shit you could do/climb on/etc). Like so many I also enjoyed the Thunderdome and other camps where there was some edge.

So I was wondering if anybody had interest in working on a camp that had a more physical orientation. Specfically I was thinking of a boot camp kind of camp with climbing ropes, sand pits where you can duke it out with padding on, etc. There are lots of variations on the theme but I wanted a camp where people could burn off some aggressive energy and have fun and maybe lose themselves in it a little.

Let me know if you have thoughts or ideas or would like to work on it with me. My BM circle of friends is far more inclined to not do anything, and be free to see the sights so I will need some help :)

A couple of guys in our camp (M*A*S*H 4207th) have talked about wanting to make an obstacle course for a few years now...Feel like joining the army?

Do it and I'll watch you all suffer!!! ;) Are you gonna get the Hulk fists to box with? Don't forget the 'tank' for the bad soldier! It's okay to loop the M*A*S*H theme song as background music too. Heheheh I've got my own theme camp in mind- not this kind tho -so I'll just participate in yours. You know, spectate and deviate! We only have so many days 'til the next burn so get in gear babies. Have a good time.
