Grudge Match Camp

Post by 68barracuda » Mon Dec 15, 2003 9:59 pm

Got a problem with one of your fellow BM participants? Catch somebody pilfering your camp? Got a lazy good for nothin' camp member not pulling his/her weight? Well, do I have a solution for you. Drag their sorry asses to Camp Grudge Match and suit up in our custom fitted Michelin Man padded suits and proceed to beat each other senseless. Frustrated with the world? One of our CTD's (Crash Test Dummies) will gladly suit up and get it on with you. 8) Now you're not assured to win but you can relieve stress so a Black Rock Ranger doesn't have the real policia take you off to a real jail for stomping somebody's head into the playa..

Whatcha think?

I like it...it's uninhibited violence without the restraint required elsewhere.
lebenskunstler - noun, German - someone for whom life is an art form.

Actually, Smite Camp does something similar. Pissed off at a camp mate?
Bring them by (have one of their patented gasoline drinks while you're
there) and ask the bar patrons for their opinion on your grudge. They'll
give you the thumbs up or the thumbs down. Then spin the wheel of
smite, and the loser gets the punishment listed.

you'll find that there are no new and original theme camp ideas.

the trick, then, is to properly execute them.

Trey is right, you can however combine two previous ideas to make a semi-original theme camp. Examples:

Jiffy Lube Meets Pinkys
Don't even think about re-using the fur!

Xara's Meets Spock Mountain Ranch Research Labs
The real grass makes a comfortable crash zone when you pass out on the hooch.

Death Guild Meets Costco Soulmate Trading Outlet
Because sometimes you need help finding a worthy ass to kick

Sorry to make light of the banter in that thread. I'm glad it's over too.

Me too! I was spending way to much time on the banter and fell behind on some of my BM projects. We've made peace I think.. :)
