More specifically, rhythmic noise. Think Ant-Zen label and Maschinenfest.

Last year was my first Burning Man and all I wanted was some stompy rhythmic noise. I may have to figure out a way to assault the playa with my own this coming year.

Have I missed out on any noise goodness?

im with you on this one we had a night in oure camp when i spun some converter and other noise but thats all i heard any where if you here of any coming up this year let me know

I agree too. To me....the environment out there is so much more condusive to abstract sounds as opposed to your typical 4 on the floor beats. I mean, don't most of you go to clubs every weekend & then some anyway?? You REALLY want to spend all that $$$ and time driving out to the desert to experience a life changing event just to go clubbing some more?!

I want to bring out my live gear to play some abstract stuff but I am concerned with the conditions so if anyone has a way of keeping gear nice please share and if you have a system to plug into and want to hear some odd sounds not just the typical let me know.

last year i played a few times some really intense hardcore gabber with lots of noise interludes and alot of quirky experimental stuff...

had some people doing headspins, and plain out confused, and others plugging their ears, but -- was a good time..

will be doing the same this year.

ME and my friend are planning on doing a cicuit bending project out on the playa. So if you here some strange sounds and see someone with a speak and spell...its us.

ive got the nuskool/progressive breaks and dnb ragga in my crate for this years event...some solid proggressive STOMP house to lay out too...the stack will grow to the event. im psyched.

breaks had a huge reaction last year, and who doesnt like drumn'bass
