FOOLS ARK MOVIE NEEDS SCREEN

Hi, I'm Dadara from Amsterdam. Two years ago I shipped a big wooden boat, the "Fools Ark" from Amsterdam and burnt it in the desert. Last year my installation was the "Burning Greymen", 120 paper maché greyman statues surrounding an altar, which you could customize decorate and eventually burn in your own private ritual.

Now together with animator/designer Jesse Limmen we made a movie/documentary/animation film about the battle between the Greyman and the Ark which is about to save the last few Fools on Earth from the corporate Grey Evil. It's a visual musical story with music from the English band Lamb.

We had a first preview of the film in London at the Burning Man Film Fest and I think it would be nice to have a screening in Black Rock City :D

So anyone with a cinema/moviedome/beamer etc please contact us to see if we can bring the story to the Playa this year. Especially great would be if you also have a good soundsystem, since Andy Barlow the guy behind Lamb will also be there with some sample equipment, so we could do a live version.

The main website has a growing list of this year's theme camps. Some might have what you need, and many of them might not check the eplaya.

I know about the lists of camps. But I don't even need a special camp. a beamer, amplifier, speakers and DVD would already be cool. Since I'm coming from Amsterdam it's a bit difficult to haul those things to the States. Improvising a screen on playa won't be difficult :-)
