the Bok Globule is going to be Incredible!

I went to the "Desert Art Installations" talk last night in NYC, and among the presentations was one about the Bok Globule by Leo Villareal and Carter Emmart. Carter "Barbie" is a long time burner who worked with NASA and the Hayen Planetarium in making a 3D map of the entire universe. Not only mapped, but one thats like a flight sim that you can interactively cruise through yourself, at different sizes and speeds. The demonstration was mind blowing, chills up your spine, getting teary-eyed with amazement sort of stuff. And this will be on the Playa this year for all to see and explore! Not only that, but it is a joint creation with incredible light artist, and also long time burner Leo Villareal. Cherry on top-The dome that will house these projections will have zero-g reclining seating, so you can literally Float through the universe!

This is one powerful gift!

I didn't catch where it will be placed, but this is not to be missed.
