Costco is Hiring

Okay, Costco was completely full, but some of our veterans have either had real-world circumstances intrude or have wandered off to reexperience their original BM years at tarp-on-car camp.

So Costco is hiring. There are current openings in the following positions: Costco Master Chef, Web Designer, CTO, Customer Service Associate, and Facilities.

This is our seventh (eighth? I can't remember) year on the playa. As CEO, I am getting grizzled and jaded. We desperately need an influx of shiny, excited, and bristly new energy or I will die of ennui. We are looking for folks who love people, love the idea of service, love good food and company, and love riding around on bikes drunk during off hours.

We are a highly interactive theme camp that's been around for a few years. We are devoted to the idea of helping people make connections at Burning Man. Everyone works a three hour shift a day, in the store, the kitchen, or the bar. We eat two delicious meals a day together. We provide you food, good company, exciting off-sites (such as a catholic school greeter shift), and your own patch of dirt in which to park your tent.

To apply, send us a charming (yet serious) email to Annie, our VP of Human Resources, at [email protected]. Tell us about your best and worst Burning Man experiences, why you would enjoy camping with Costco, what your most challenging personal habit is, and secrets about yourself that we can barter with later.

Okay, our head chef position is filled, and our CTO needs are taken care of. However, we still need Customer Service Representatives. We'd love to have you join us.

Dude -

Stumbled across this. We should finally meet face to face, and swap stories about how a certain lameass radio corporation can suck my left nut.

I'll be doing *something* over at pancake playhouse.
Come say hi.

I am in search of a part time job. I already have a home but I seem to still have to much of my day free to get into Playa trouble. If you are still hiring part time help I would love to submit an application. Just curious do I get medical benefits with this position (primarily for my liquid medication). Also after the first week of employment I may need vaction time to go back to my real job. Let me know if positions are still available and what are my requirements for employment.
Time is precious, waste it wisely.
