I don't know what the situation is on the Playa... Where we will set up camp... how much space one camp can take up... If you aren't in a theme camp what is the pros/cons and finaly what is the Music Theme camps scene really like... should i get into one. (I love music.. playing guitar, singing organising.....

Camping at BM

Sorta depends on alot of things... typically the larger, higher profile camps get preferred seating up front. Lots of villages these days. First come first serve seating begins I'm not sure, but probably several blocks back from the esplanade. So depending on when you arrive, will dictate how close to the esplanade you will be. My favorite part of BM is meeting people and inviting people in to our camp. The closer to the esplanade and closer to a street the mo better for this. More foot traffic. If you are not given a space by the BM folks you will need to scramble to find a good spot that's not too far out. Depends on what you like.

As to being or not being a theme camp and how that will impact your experience, that's up to you, it doesn't take much to be a theme camp. All it takes is an idea. I've seen theme camps as simple as Haiku camp, back rub camp, giant checkers camp. What about Guitar Workshop Camp, where people can learn guitar?? sign out front "Come on in and learn guitar" The more you interact and contribute to the event the more you will feel in tune with it. Not just a person in the audience but someone in the band.
