Stages around the man

Anyone know if they are building performance stages at the base of the man this year?

Good question and one I don't have the answer to. The tentative design I've seen suggests that there won't be although this is just a guess. Sound stages anywhere near the man would probably be an impediment to the pedestrian traffic around the area so I'm inclined to think that there won't be.

They are building performance stages at the base of the man, but you had to submit some kind of form to be approved to perform there. I'm not sure when you had to apply by, I'll look around and post if I find anything.

Actually, you just have to submit an application to be one of the organizers of the performances. They're intended to involve a high degree of audience participation.
