Critical Tits Party Feedback/Ideas

Post by captainerotica » Thu Sep 04, 2003 4:58 pm

Hello to the Burning Man Community

This is Captain Erotica. I am one of the Organizers of the
Critical Tits Party which follows the CT Bike Ride.

This year we took a quantum leap forward in communicating to the denizens of BRC that the CT Party is a place where men are in service of the women.

To that end, this years celebration had a whole series of Service Stations where men could provide our female guests with interactive things to do.
In addition to Bike Parking, Beverage and Food Services, a few examples of this were:
The Adoration Station
The Erotic Ice Bar

The Pedicure Station
etc... We even had a Male Volunteer Station to which all male atendees were sent and asked to check in and find a way to help...

We are ever seeking to enhance our event. To that end we are seeking feedback and suggestions from our community. Please feel free to send us any of the following:

1- Stories from this years Critical Tits Party -

2- Images or video from this years CT Party - Especially of the Service Stations

3- Suggestions for Critical Tits Party2004

4- FROM MEN - Offers to host and or supply a Service Station for next years Party...

Replys can be sent to [email protected] or posted to this topic

Ladies if you have thoughts or suggestions for the ride itself, look for a similar thread to be started soon...

Thanks in advance for all your feedback and ideas about the Party...
We look forward to an even more amazing event in 2004!

Good party. Myself and my companion rolled over from our nearby walk-in camp with our bar cart and distributed an unholy amount of liquor over a short period. Our girls had an absolute blast. We were, however, appalled by the growing (over the afternoon) prevalence of dudes with apparently no purpose save gawping, and the audacity to ask us for drinks. Naturally there's going to be some of this, but I would suggest having a separate gentlemen servant's entrance, with according requirements of actual servitude (and some good bouncers on both entrances). We'd have been happy to slip in the back door (or even be excluded totally, if it improved the event, although I've been told that men are actually good for something occasionally).

Had to call in a Ranger. . .

Post by bizdeviant » Fri Sep 05, 2003 8:32 am

I arrived near the end of the Critical Tits party and was locking up my bike when I watched a guy spin out of the party and deliberately knock over a scooter. I then watched him bounce in and out of the party three more times and either knock bikes over or stumble aggressively up to someone walking by and at the last minute touch/poke the passerby.

This guy had friends at the party who watched him and didn't do anything. I didn't know anyone at the party and was amazed that no one else was clueing in to how weirdly this guy was reacting to being around naked women while drunk. His aggression level was through the roof, but he was dealing with it by acting out on objects and people outside the party.

Anyway, I went to get a Ranger (which took 30 minutes) and by the time the Ranger got there, the party was breaking up and the guy was gone.

Just an anecdote. . .

Hi Captain Erotica, I met you briefly at the start when I brought my truck in to unload supplies (I'm Winston's friend, blond this week, and worked the pedicure booth), plus I had the honor of giving Aphrodite a beta pedicure.

Our booth rocked! We worked for over four hours and had a great time. There was something liberating about cleaning, massaging and oiling the feet of the women who waited over a half an hour at our station and it seemed like they loved it as well. I know we're hoping to do it again next year and we're going to figure out more goodies for the godesses, and more volunteers to speed the line. My only regret was that I didn't see any of the party really, head down in feet as I was, but it looked like a great event and my vantage point was pretty awesome to begin with. I didn't see any aggressive or offensive behavior where we were at all, just some cool men serving the feminine.

I met a great variety of goddesses and I want to thank you all for spending some time with us at the pedicure booth. We've got the loofa gloves, pummus stones, and all our oils neatly cleaned and packed away for next year.

8) Myself and a good friend were servers this year for the CT after party. This was definately one of the highlights for me this year as I enjoyed being in service for all the goddesses present. The start of the party had some great vibes going on, but as time passed, more guys started to arrive which changed the vibe and I believe made some of the women uncomfortable. Several women at the party mentioned this to us and began to leave the party at that point. I purposely avoided serving food to the men that were present because I felt that this was not about them, but a celebration of women. We discussed this topic when we arrived back in our camp with other women who had attended the event. They too were dismayed by some of the men and suggested that perhaps in the future, all men should be accompanied by a woman to gain access to the party. AND, that those men should be put on leashes in an attempt to have them be somewhat more submissive and under control. I don't know if this scenario would work, but if it has any effect on making women more comfortable in such an environment, I say BRING IT ON!

Hello Captain Erotica.

Rabbit here, I am the one who brought my campmates to lend extra hands early in the afternoon and set up the sound system. I thought this year’s party was an unbelievable success. I only encountered two men who arrived about an hour into the party who gave me any grief about checking in at the male volunteer station. We, The Ultra Violet, would love to coordinate a service station at next year’s event. I like the idea of men wearing collars as itchylou suggested. The goddesses seemed to respond very well to the collar I was wearing and had no trouble approaching me for assistance. Cheers on another powerfull event for women.

just wanted to say thanks for a great party!! You were great hosts & all the guys worked so hard to honor & serve the women. (love the watermelon and drinks made by the revved-up blender!)

i stayed for a little more than an hour (so didn't witness lone men crashing the party), but had a blast nonetheless. one suggestion is to somehow spread the word for women to bring their own cups. (luckily i had mine because there's nothing like drinking a cold beer while riding your bike topless in a parade )

Complaints given to Playa Info the next day

Post by kjpires » Sat Sep 06, 2003 10:19 am

I did not go to the Critical Tits Party, but I was working at Playa Info the next day when a woman came to complain about "the men at the party." I asked her what they did and she told me that some men were groping and grabbing women without concent and that she was disgusted.

I wasn't there, but her description certainly sounded inappropreate. I told her that she should have found a ranger. She told me that there weren't any around and that she didn't want to leave the party to roam around looking for a ranger. I told her that there are always rangers at the three ranger stations (at center camp and each plaza) and that the only time you can really resolve a problem is when it is happening.

Further, she told me that she had just come from the Center Camp Ranger Station and that they had sent her to Playa Info to complain. This seemed rather unusal, but they probably did it because they couldn't help her so long after it happened and thought we might be able to put her in contact with the party organizers.

I have a suggestion: ask a few female rangers to attend next year's party to resolve any problems that might arise during the party.

I loved the party and thought is was so much better than last year. I loved all the guys with drinks and food and some truly creative ideas (ice kisses were fun). You guys rocked and really made my day. I'm not exactly model material, but everyone still made me feel like a goddess for a little while. The bike parking area was a serious plus and made getting out much easier.

The spectator guys were a bit odd, but expected. I was near the end of the ride and saw whole groups of guys heading to the party. It would be kinda cool to perhaps limit these sorts. They definately do nothing to add to the ambience of the party and do make some uncomfortable.

Overall, it was fantastic and extremely well organized. I really have to hand it to you. Thank you so much for all your hard work, generosity and dedication.

Hi,I was one of the guys serving food(I also worked the Adoration Station for some time).Serving was also one of my highlights this year(I also did it last year). While I agree there should be some sort of restictions on the number/attitudes of men,I think some of the suggestions mentioned in this thread go a little too far.Personally,I didn't have a woman to go with.If I did,I probably would have been adoring her myself,in private.I volunteered because I love women, and would fell a little excluded if the party became a place to "take a date".I think there should be lamanets for volunteers, and you should have to volunteer to attend as a male.I like the idea of leashes though...

This year was my first burn, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! One of the highlights being the critical tits ride and after party! What a treat it was to be pamperd by handsom and willing slave boys! And the music was great! I was the redheaded woman in green fairy wings and paul frank panties that (quite correctly) had "Friday"
on them. I danced for hours in front of the DJ booth and had a blast!
I want to address the "problem" of men standing around and gawping, and
trying to get into the party. To this I say, who cares, what's the big deal,
and wouldn't you? I mean, they are men, and there was a party of beautiful, TOPLESS, women! How can they be expected to resist? I like it when men look at me! Women are glorious creatures, half naked ones even more so! No, I don't approve of men groping without pemission, but when a man does that to me, I make sure he is punished for it! I know it
is a party for women ( I liked that about it) but for goodness sakes ladies,
lighten up, one day, they won't be looking any more, and you will miss it!
P.S. I love the idea of men on leashes, because it's sexy!
I love you all, you are all the goddess!
see you next year!

Fuck that - I plan to be a hottie at 80

Since this was your first year you haven't experienced the *intensity* of male attention given to critical tits in past years. What (i'm guessing) was originally intended as a celebration of woman's power became a celebration of woman's power... to turn on men (imho). I've avoided it recently - my first and only ride a bunch of years ago made me feel icky. Glad to hear any reports of it turning around.

(OK, OK, ya got me...)

I missed this year's event -- it was one of my sick days -- but from what I've heard and read I think maybe the party needs a few gatekeepers: largish individuals (wearing black executioner's hoods, natch), armed with nasty-looking axes and hammers, slapping collars on unescorted males and pointing to (but not speaking about) a list of unacceptable behaviour. Give it two years, tops, and the hypermales will get in line. (Especially after the first few simulated castrations.) Plus, making them gatekeepers would keep them apart from the main party, so the goddesses could do as they please without the creepy lurking-medieval-death vibe.

Actually not a bad idea. Maybe have a few meandering near the event. Keep in mind that any Rangers showing up would not be there for purposes of acting as chaperons and as others have stated, participants should empower themselves (individually or collectively) to deal with fuckwits who get out of control. You might consider soliciting the Chupacabra Policia. They have several take-no-shit women who could easily show any offender the door.

I also avoided it like the plague this year just of such a bad experience last year (2002)on the ride. I just couldnt bring myself to particpate in an event that it to me was no longer about women solidarity but about lookiloos and "paparatzzi" I saw some ugly things on the ride in 2002 and I just couldnt do it again for my own sanity and the protection of fine digital cameras everywhere capturing the "beauty of women" ie the lookieloos filming the boobs and nipples of every CT attendant.

Maybe next year.

I believe this thread was about the PARTY,not the ride to the party,or why you didn't ride. You can't stop curiosity or the filming.Personally,I think Buringman has gotten a little too sanitized in the last few years, and I'd like to see a little less segrigation amonst the sexs.I applaud the people who threw the party for creating a nitch for the men who wanted to attend.Thank you. also edit to remove smily face...by request.LOL

No really - i was being snippy but i agree about sanitization (uh... is that a word?), but have no idea what you mean by sexual segregation.

And just so y'all know - not only am I big into grrl power (with an extra side of grr) but I'm a big fan of male sexuality and would so be there with a camera for "critical cocks".

I pose a question for the the goddesses that chose not to attend...what could have been done to make you more comfortable?Keeping in mind that some men will just wonder in(1000s of women in one place has a strange way of becaming a beacan),I believe all of the men serving were genuinely being selfless in their desire to make women comfortable. The few bad apples that make it to the party will get in no matter what you do,so regulating a party like this will only make it exclusive, and probably turn it into exactly what people are trying to prevent...some kind of club where only certain men can attend.I say have female doorpeople, who insist on leashes upon entrance.I'd gladly wear one...

Critical Ass in conjuction with CT?

Post by crackle » Mon Sep 08, 2003 1:03 am

Anyone have interest in my promoting a Critical Ass assembly to compliment the Critical Tits bike ride? My thought is to have the Esplanade lined with thousands of naked butts for the spanking as the Tits ride by. Hit me up at [email protected] if you like the idea.

Something to bitch about

Post by Red one » Mon Sep 08, 2003 3:47 am

Why the complaints? I had an awesome time! The DJ's were fun, the serving boys were great, and the drinks flowed free! A couple of men began to encroach, and I politely put them in line. If you exersize your
girrrrl power, and tell a man to behave, 9 times out of 10, he'll recognize
your power, and respectfully comply, if not, then you put him in his place!
I don't see any need to "go get a ranger" If a man steps out of line, politely remind him of his status as a persona non grata at such an event,
he'll get the idea, the men I talked to did. Why must people always find somethig to bitch about? I for one thought it was great! And I thank everyone involved with putting it on! Thank you! As for looking great at 80
I'm sure you will look great at 80, for an 80 year old woman that is, but lets face facts, when was the last time you saw a really hot 80 year old woman? Try never! Sad but true. So I say, enjoy it while it lasts!

Nekkid every day on the playa. Nekkid with accessories at Critical Tits. Do guys look? Guys do. Do guys touch? Only if they want to be introduced to my cog set.

I find it an amazing, empowering event. Go early, leave early. Appreciate the guys who feed and water us. Ignore or educate the boys who've apparently never seen so much 3D womanhood in their lives.

Can't we all just get along?
