Burning for Two: paint /henna pregnant bellies, massage?

Burning for Two is a Blessingway ritual for pregnant Black Rock Citizens to acknowledge and celebrate this momentous transition in their lives. I am looking for people who wish to join in this sacred, joyous event by contributing their body painting or henna skills or supplies, massaging shoulders and feet, serving refreshments, or participating in the planning of the ritual. I particularly invite those who work with birth. However, this is not required. If you are interested in participating, you are welcome!

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday from 4-6 pm at WIGTown, approx. 3:15 Uranus. If location changes slightly, look for sign posted at 3:00 and Uranus.

Maybe you moms and moms-to-be can tell me something. I'm thinking ahead to next year already on this topic. Is there an ideal time to be pregnant on the playa, or a time when you really shouldn't go? IE, is it okay if you are 4-6 months pregnant but not good if you are 1-3 months or 7-9 months?

How about right after the baby is born? Is your body such a mess recooperating that going when the baby is only a month to 6 months old would be unadvisable? Etc?

We are thinking about trying to have a baby next year, and timing it's delivery so that possible Burning Man plans would not be affected. So am curious to hear discussion on the topic.

Yeah, ok. Maybe after burning man is over. I haven't had good luck with the search feature on Eplaya. So sometimes it's easier to just start a new thread or add to one that has been started. Folks are welcome to send me emails and Private messages if they don't want to clutter up this topic. I hate cross posting. It annoys me when I see it, and I'm sure it annoys others as well.
