Does anyone know who actually comes up with the themes each year? I'm quite curious about this and would love to know more!

Bob Stahl.

He's been the idea man behind The Hatted One(TM) for years.

He'll be announcing the 2005 theme here in a few days.

Naturally, he has some of his "friends" loft a few eplaya surveys first, to feel the throb of the communal pulse. It's all about participating on the poll, baby.

Just send a press release out for whatever you want it to be. I don't think they will mind having mutliple themes. It's a diversity thing.
